A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Food tastes good! Generous portion! Great atmosphere. Fast service!"
"Nice and polite service, price is not expensive with big food portion. Food and drinks taste good, super recommend 鸡丝河粉 , very nice soup Wan tan mee sauce slight sweet"
"Crowded in weekend but it's normal. Crunchy breads with nice coffee Will come again next time."
"Atmosphere: Like being at home Food: For those we ordered, all were delicious. I liked the curry very much. Staff: Not much requests needed from the staff, so no comment. Generally, friendly."
"Overall their top 3 consider is very good , chicken Kai si hor fun , nyonya curry laksa and nasi lemak ayam goreng rempak. Price Rm12.00 per bowl with fully AC cafe that consider price is reasonable with quite big portion. BF during weekend and public holiday is Crowded with long Q expected waiting 20 to 45mins."
"Update 29/8/2025: pork chop rice is a good choice, if not for the sauce. Pork chop is well-portioned, juicy and seasoned just enough, but the black pepper sauce lacked something. Enjoy kosong better. Update 13/8/2025: menu still as expansive, customers still packing, service still good, and vibes are still vibrant. All cylinders firing, this is a frigging enjoyable kopitiam! Look, a good cafe in the neighbourhood means bragging rights. One of the better kopitiams in the Botani/Cyber area. Previously a hotpot place, they pivoted to cash in on Ipoh people's love for hawker food with air-conditioning. Finding this spot is easy although parking may be limited. Inside is spacious and cool, tables comfortably spread across two shoplots. Staff are young, energetic and attentive, boding well for the future of this kopitiam I hope. For the most part, they've succeeded. The coffee is fragrant, foamy and best of all, served in a large glass. As for the food, there are more hits than misses. The nasi lemak is generous and tasty, with a sweetish sambal that's easy to like. The wantan mee is dry but beautifully accented with divine pork lard, and best paired with curry chicken. The other staples like egg toast, curry mee and chicken hor fun do not disappoint either, and can be ordered safely. So far, the only minor mis-step is the western menu. I thought the sauces were very floury and lacked real flavour. Otherwise, the drinks, snacks and staple hawker food all deserve a go, especially at value-for-money prices. Based on food alone, my favourite kopitiam in the area is still 32 Good Taste, but I come here more often because there's less fighting for seats."
"Service needs improvement, but food still tastes great. Recommend for families and friends."
"My favorite restaurant in Taman Botani, Ipoh. Reopened in May 2024 selling local food like nasi lemak, toast, noodles etc. So you need to ignore the reviews before this date relating to hotpots. Their Ipoh hot fun is the most popular dish here. I also like the pork noodles. It is somewhat like Ipoh Old town Kopitiam but at much lower prices. The restaurant was packed when I came for Sunday lunch at 12.20 which shows that it is a local favourite. Ample seating tables as they comprise 2 shop adjoining lots."
